Meet Ben
Director & Exercise Physiologist

Untitled Project_edited_edited.jpg

Born and raised in Busselton and the South West, I’m committed to supporting my local community through my work as an Exercise Physiologist and as an Education Advisor with the University Department of Rural Health. I graduated from Curtin University in 2020 with a Master’s in Exercise Physiology and have over 5 years of experience working in the workers compensation system, helping people recover from musculoskeletal injuries and return to work safely and confidently.

I started Geobay Exercise Rehabilitation as a mobile service to improve access to high-quality, evidence-based care for people in rural and regional areas. I work with people of all ages and abilities, with a particular focus on return-to-work rehab and active recovery from injury.

My approach is practical and client-focused—I aim to make rehab feel empowering, not overwhelming, and always tailored to fit real life. When I’m not on the road, you’ll often find me running along the coastline and enjoying everything the South West has to offer.

Meet Anthony (Tony)
Senior Exercise Physiologist

Now based in Bunbury after relocating from Perth and spending time in the South West, I’ve always had a strong connection to movement, health, and performance. Growing up in Perth, I channelled this through playing Aussie rules and basketball at competitive levels, shaping my understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport, injury, and recovery.

As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, I’ve gained broad experience across multiple areas of rehabilitation, including workers compensation, NDIS, DVA, chronic disease management, and aged care. My career has spanned hands-on clinical work through to senior clinical and non-clinical leadership roles, including managing allied health services across residential and community aged care.

More recently, I worked nationally as part of an employment services assessment panel, travelling across regional and remote Western Australia. This provided a unique perspective on the barriers people face in accessing care and returning to meaningful work, which continues to shape my approach.

I now focus on delivering practical, outcomes-driven rehabilitation, particularly within the workers compensation space. My approach is evidence-based and tailored to the individual, ensuring rehab is realistic, goal-oriented, and aligned with each person’s lifestyle and capacity. Whether it’s returning to work, improving function, or building long-term resilience, I aim to make the process structured, empowering, and sustainable.

Outside of work, you’ll find me playing footy or, more importantly, spending time with my partner and young son.
